Shadow Moses is a genre-bending metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, known for blending the raw intensity of heavy music with the soul and rhythm of hip-hop, R&B, and EDM. Their sound embodies what they call the “Heaven & Hell complex” — a reflection of life’s duality between chaos and clarity, destruction and hope.

Formed in 2019, the band officially began releasing music in 2021, channeling personal experiences and emotional vulnerability into every song. Shadow Moses strives to empower listeners to find strength through struggle, creating music that serves as both an escape and a reminder to keep moving forward — even in the dark.

Their debut album, released on May 26th, 2023, established them as one of the most dynamic new voices in the modern metal scene — melodic, aggressive, and unapologetically honest. In May 2025, they returned with their explosive single “Ikari”, followed by a milestone 10th performance at Chain Reaction in Anaheim.

On October 22, 2025, Shadow Moses released their newest EP, Where Night Ends, the sequel and final chapter to their previous project, This Present Darkness. The release closes one era while opening a new creative horizon for the band — a testament to evolution, resilience, and self-discovery.

Shadow Moses consists of Christian Ocampo (vocals), Alan Le (guitar), Freddy Uyehara (bass), and Edgar Canaan (drums). Together, they represent a new generation of heavy music that blurs boundaries, connects worlds, and proves that even amidst the noise — light always finds a way through.
